Online booking for cleaners

Cleaning splits in two, and Seatbooker now does both. Your standing customers go in once as a repeat, weekly or fortnightly, and fill a year of the diary in one go. The rest is the work that arrives by text on a Tuesday night and takes four messages to pin down: end-of-tenancy, deep cleans, oven cleans, the first visit for somebody new. That half books itself while you are on a job.

Free for 12 months, no card required. No commission on your bookings, ever.

What your service menu might look like

Sizing the job in the service list rather than on the phone is the whole trick here. A three-bed end of tenancy books six hours because that is what it takes, and nobody arrives expecting it done in two.

Titanium Barbering is a sample business we run, so have a proper look around: the service list, the photos, the times it offers and the booking form your customers would fill in. Yours works the same way with your own name on it. Please do not book, the shop is not real.

Built around how cleaners actually work

Your regulars go in once

Put a standing weekly or fortnightly clean in the diary a year ahead in one go, on the days that suit. Dates that clash with something already booked or with a day you do not work are skipped and listed, so you can place those few by hand rather than finding out on the morning. Recurring appointments are on Plus.

Travel time is not free

Set a gap between appointments and every booking respects it, so the diary stops assuming you finish one job and start the next in the same second. This is the setting most cleaners come here for and the one a generic calendar never has.

Long jobs behave like long jobs

A six-hour end of tenancy takes six hours out of the day rather than an hour with a note attached. If the afternoon is already gone, that job simply does not offer a morning start that would overrun into it.

Quotes without the phone tag

List a free half-hour first visit as its own service and prospective customers book it themselves. You turn up, price the job properly, and the four-message negotiation about when you are free never happens.

The ones who cancel on the morning

Set the notice you need to fill a half-day, and mark anyone who does not turn up. Their trust score drops, you see it on their next request, and you can block someone outright on any plan including the free one.

What Seatbooker does not do

Worth knowing before you spend an evening setting it up.

  • Recurring appointments are on Plus, not on Starter or Professional. If standing cleans are the reason you are here, that is the plan you need.
  • A repeat runs a year ahead and then stops. It is not an open-ended contract that renews itself, so a long-standing customer gets set up again each year.
  • No per-property notes, key or alarm code storage. Where the bins go and which door sticks stays wherever you keep it now.
  • No card payments, deposits or invoicing, so an end-of-tenancy job is still settled however you settle it today.
  • One fixed gap between jobs, not a real travel time per postcode. A cross-city job and one on the next street get the same allowance.
  • Starter is one person. A team of cleaners with their own rounds needs Professional or Plus.

Common questions

Nearly all my work is weekly regulars. Is this any use to me?
Yes, and that is what changed. A standing clean goes in as a repeat: pick the day and time, say weekly or fortnightly, and it fills the diary a year ahead in one go. Anything that clashes with a day off or a job already booked is skipped and listed so you can place it yourself. It needs the Plus plan, and it is worth knowing the repeat runs a year and then stops rather than renewing on its own.
How does it know how long a job takes when every house is different?
It does not, and it does not guess. You size the jobs yourself in the service list, which is why the examples above are written as a two-hour clean, a half-day deep clean and a three-bed end of tenancy rather than just cleaning. Customers pick the one that matches, and the free first visit exists for the jobs you need to see before you price.
