For customers

How do I book an appointment?

Find the business through searchor their direct Seatbooker link, pick a service, choose a time that suits you, and enter your details. The business then confirms your booking - you'll get an email when they do.

How do I cancel a booking?

Sign in and go to My bookings, then choose "Cancel booking" on the appointment. Each business sets its own cancellation notice period - cancelling inside that window, or missing an appointment, reduces your trust score by 10%, so cancel as early as you can.

What is my trust score?

A reliability rating that starts at 90%. It drops by 10% if you miss an appointment or cancel late, and businesses see it when you book. See our terms for full details.

How do I add Seatbooker to my phone's home screen?

iPhone (Safari):open seatbooker.co.uk, tap the share button, then "Add to Home Screen".

Android (Chrome):open seatbooker.co.uk, tap the three-dot menu, then "Add to Home screen".

I didn't get my confirmation email

Check your spam folder first. Bookings start as "pending" and are only confirmed once the business accepts, so there can be a delay between the request email and the confirmation email.

For business owners

How do bookings get confirmed?

New requests arrive as "pending" - you'll get an email, and can confirm or decline from your dashboard. Customers are emailed automatically either way.

How do I set my working hours and breaks?

Dashboard → Availability. Set hours, breaks and a gap between appointments per seat. Customers can only book times that fit.

How do I set a cancellation policy?

Dashboard → Settings. Choose how many hours' notice customers must give (default 24) and optionally describe your policy - it's shown to customers when they cancel. Late cancellations and no-shows reduce the customer's trust score.

What happens when a customer doesn't show up?

After the appointment time passes, use the "No-show" button on the booking in your dashboard. The customer's trust score drops by 10% (you can undo a mistake). Their score is shown to you on every future booking request.

How do discount codes work?

Create codes in Dashboard → Discounts with a percentage or fixed amount, optional expiry and usage limits. Customers apply them when booking.

How does billing work?

Subscriptions are billed through Stripe - manage your plan, card and invoices from Dashboard → Billing → Manage billing.
