What it pays

Three milestones, paid as the business you referred proves itself. You keep everything earned along the way.

    They go live - £5 (£5 in total)

    Their booking page is published and appears in Seatbooker search. They can do that on Starter, which is free and doesn't require a credit card.

    One month in - £20 (£25 in total)

    They have been live at least 30 days and completed 10 appointments or more for 10 different customers.

  3. 3

    Three months in - £50 (£75 in total)

    The business has been live on Seatbooker for at least three months, with 100 appointments for 30 different customers, and they are on a paid Professional or Plus plan.

What counts, and what does not

Worth knowing before you share the link, rather than after.

  • The link has to be used. A referral is recorded when their account is created, from the link they last clicked. If they click it but sign up some other way, on another device, or after clearing their cookies, there is no record and nothing is paid. We cannot add it afterwards, so it is worth watching them use it.
  • A completed appointment is a real one. Confirmed, for a paid service, on a date that has passed. Cancellations, no-shows and free services do not count, and neither do bookings made by the business, its staff, or you.
  • Different customers means different people. One regular booking every week does not get to 10 customers on their own.
  • The last milestone needs them paying. A free trial or a plan we have given away does not count as a paid plan.
  • You cannot refer yourself. Nor a business you own, work for, or share an address or email domain with.

Getting paid

Take it as Seatbooker credit, as cash, or split it between the two. Credit has no minimum and comes off your next bill automatically. Cash starts at £25 and is paid monthly.

Rewards are held for 30 days, then checked and released by us. We aim to release within 14 days of you asking. Nothing is paid automatically - somebody looks at every payout.

And £25 for them

The business you refer gets £25of Seatbooker credit when they go live. Nothing to claim and nothing to enter - it comes off their first bill whenever that arrives, including if they spend the full free year on Starter first. It is a better opening line than "you should try this".

Questions

Who can refer a business?
Anyone with a Seatbooker account. You do not need to run a business yourself - if you know somebody who takes appointments, you can refer them. Creating an account takes a minute and costs nothing.
What if they click my link but sign up later without it?
Then nothing is paid, and we cannot fix it afterwards. A referral is recorded at the moment the account is created, from the link last clicked in the previous 30 days. If they clear their cookies, switch device, or come back through a different route, there is no record to pay against and our systems have no way of adding one later. It is worth asking them to use the link there and then.
Can I refer my own business, or one I work for?
No. Referring yourself, a business you own or control, one you work for, or one sharing your address or email domain does not earn anything. Nor does a business that was already talking to us before your link was used.
When do I actually get the money?
Each reward is held for 30 days after it is earned, then checked and released by us. We aim to release within 14 days of you asking. Nothing is paid automatically - a person looks at every payout, which is what keeps the programme worth running.

Either, or a mix. Seatbooker credit has no minimum and comes off your next bill automatically, so it needs a business on your account. Cash starts at £25 and is paid monthly. You can take part of a balance as one and part as the other.
What counts as a completed appointment?
A confirmed booking for a paid service whose date has passed. Cancellations, no-shows and free services do not count, and neither do appointments booked by the business itself, its staff, or you. The 10 appointments at the first month have to be for 10 different customers, so one loyal regular booking weekly does not get there on their own.
What does the business I refer get?
£25 of Seatbooker credit when they go live, applied to their first bill whenever that arrives. They can start on Starter, which is free for 12 months and takes no card, and the credit is still waiting when they move to a paid plan.
Is there a limit on how many business I can refer?
Not at all. There is no cap on what you can earn. We reserve the right to verify all referralsbefore releasing anything further, which is a human looking just to keep everyone right. The first £75 is per business referred, not per year.
