Referral programme terms

Version 2026-09-12. Last updated: 12 September 2026

1. Who these terms are for

These terms apply to anyone taking part in the Seatbooker referral programme, whether or not you run a business on Seatbooker. They sit alongside our main terms and conditions. The programme is operated by B McCormack, trading as Seatbooker.

You must be at least 18 years old to take part and to be paid.

2. How a referral is recorded

You get a personal tracking link. When somebody opens it we store one cookie in their browser holding your referral code. If that person creates a Seatbooker account within 30 days, the referral is recorded against you at the moment their account is created.

A referral is recorded only at the moment an account is created, and never afterwards. If somebody clicks your link but then signs up without it, or on a different device or browser, or after clearing their cookies, or more than 30 days later, no referral is recorded and nothing is payable to you. This is not a discretion we exercise: our systems have no way of adding a referrer to an account after it has been created, and we cannot do it on request.

If somebody clicks more than one referral link, the last one clicked before they sign up is the one that counts.

Each referred account has one referrer, permanently. Referrals cannot be split, transferred or reassigned.

3. What the programme pays

For each business you refer, you can earn up to £75 across three milestones:

  • £5 when the business publishes its booking page and is listed in Seatbooker search.
  • £20 more once the business has been live for 30 days and has completed at least 10 appointments for at least 10 different customers.
  • £50 more once the business has been live for 90 days, has completed at least 100 appointments for at least 30 different customers, and is on a paid Professional or Plus subscription.

The business you refer receives £25 of Seatbooker credit when it goes live.

4. What the words in section 3 mean

Milestones are measured from Seatbooker's own records. Specifically:

  • Live means the business has a published booking page appearing in Seatbooker search, and is neither suspended nor expired. A business must be live at the moment a milestone is assessed.
  • A completed appointment is a confirmed booking, for a service with a price above zero, whose date has passed. Cancelled bookings, no-shows and free services do not count, and nor does anything booked before the business went live.
  • A different customermeans a distinct customer email address. Appointments booked by the business owner, its staff, the business's own email addresses, anyone at the same email domain as the business, or by you, do not count towards either total.
  • A paid plan means an active, paid Professional or Plus subscription. A free trial, a lapsed or unpaid subscription, and a plan we have given away free do not count.

5. When nothing is payable

No reward is earned or payable where:

  • no referral was recorded at the time the account was created, for any reason;
  • you refer yourself, or a business you own, control, work for, are employed by, or are related to;
  • the referred business shares an address, email domain, payment details or contact details with you;
  • the business was already a Seatbooker customer, or was already in contact with us about joining, before your link was used;
  • the account, the business or the appointments behind a milestone are fabricated, duplicated or otherwise not genuine;
  • you are in breach of these terms.

6. Holding, checking and reversing rewards

Every reward is held for 30 days after it is earned. It becomes payable only if the referred business is still live and in good standing at the end of that period. If it is not, the reward is reversed.

Every reward is reviewed and released by Seatbooker before it is paid. No reward is paid automatically.

We may withhold, delay, reduce or cancel any reward, and suspend or close your participation in the programme, where we suspect fraud, abuse, fabricated businesses or appointments, duplicate accounts, or any breach of these terms. Where fraud is suspected, Seatbooker's decision is final. We are not obliged to explain how a particular case was identified, and we may withhold rewards while we look into one.

We may also reverse a reward where the referred business is refunded, charges back, is suspended, or is found not to be genuine. If reversals leave your balance negative, the shortfall is set against future rewards.

7. Taking your rewards

Cleared rewards can be taken as Seatbooker billing credit, as cash, or split between the two.

  • Credit has no minimum. It is a discount against your Seatbooker subscription, applied automatically to your next bill. It has no cash value, is not transferable and is not refundable. Credit requires a business on your Seatbooker account for it to apply to.
  • Cash starts at £25 and is paid monthly in arrears. We may require identity verification before paying you, and we may decline to pay anyone we cannot verify.

Both are released by us rather than automatically. We aim to release within 14 days of a request.

8. Limits

Up to 10 referrals per referrer per calendar month, and £750 of cash in total, are handled as routine. Beyond either, we review before releasing anything further. This is not a cap on what you can earn; it is a point at which a person looks first.

9. How you may and may not promote Seatbooker

You must not:

  • bid on Seatbooker brand terms in paid search, or run ads that imply you are us;
  • send unsolicited bulk email, messages or texts containing your link;
  • present yourself as Seatbooker, or as speaking on our behalf;
  • post your link on coupon, voucher or deal sites;
  • offer your own cash or rebate to the business you are referring;
  • make claims about Seatbooker that are untrue or that we have not made ourselves.

10. Tax

All rewards are inclusive of any VAT or other tax. You are responsible for declaring and paying any tax due on what you receive. Seatbooker is not VAT registered and does not deduct tax from rewards.

11. Changes and ending the programme

We may change these terms, change what the programme pays, or end the programme at any time. Rewards already approved for release are honoured. Rewards that are still pending, and milestones not yet reached, are not guaranteed.

12. Disputes

Our determination of what has been earned is final in the absence of manifest error. If you think something is wrong, email us at support@seatbooker.co.uk within 60 days of the reward in question and we will look at it.
